In June, 2006, I had the honor of meeting Dominic Allamano in Ashland, Oregon. By divine order, he and many of the young people of Generation YES showed up for one of my healing and activation sessions while I visited with my dear friend Asha Deliverance of Pacific Domes. I must personally state that this new generation is aware, advanced in their inner-knowing and are already doing their work through their art and creativity.

Since I am of the Elder Generation now on the planet, it was an honor to have met these young people and I continue to thank spirit for allowing me to activate their energy grids so that they could continue building the bridge with us to shift the imbalances in our world. There is a group on the planet today that needs our attention and support. If they have it, then they will possess everything they need to help move the mainstream mass-consciousness to the next level. They are there waiting for us already, and if we join our intent with theirs then anything is possible.

As you know, over the last several years we've put a great deal of focus on the new generation of masters, the Indigo Children. They indicate a new stage in human evolution, and it's important for us to understand then respond to their mission. Today, however, I want to bring your attention to a new group, just as important, the group that has allowed the Indigo Evolution to take root.

I'm calling this group "Generation YES!" For the most part they are between the ages of 25 and 32, and are responsible for a mass movement toward spiritual values that millions of young people are responding to. They are artists and visionaries, musicians and filmmakers, and their contributions can be seen everywhere we look.

Here's one example. Last week at the 10th Annual Earthdance celebration in California I had the privilege of meeting a young musician named India Arie. Many of you already know India as the 12-time Grammy nominated musician whose latest album went to number one on the Billboard charts. If you listen to her music you'll also realize that she is part of a new generation of artists using their talent to inspire the world. Her spirit is overwhelming and her message universal. India is just one example of an artist who is using her gifts to change the world. She is without question part of the Generation YES!

You may remember the name given to the generation immediately preceding this one. They were called "Generation X" because they lacked direction and inspiration. Not true of Generation YES! I believe that the current social and political climate has only enhanced their dedication for promoting peace and justice around the world. The universe is conspiring to pull us from the divisive energies of separation into unity and compassion for all beings.

The question then becomes, how does this information apply to you? Just as the Indigo Children needed our support to initiate their mission, so does Generation YES! need a bridge created between all generations to fulfill the mission we all share. These young men and women have been entrusted with linking and binding all the other groups into a cohesive unit whose influence cannot be stopped. We need each other, and together we will shift the mainstream consciousness in a new and vibrant direction.

These young people have their own unique way of accessing spiritual wisdom and truths, and it's often not through books or seminars. Music, dance and art are the mediums in which they thrive, and they have the ability, as with India Arie, to create the necessary bridge between our spiritual selves and the mainstream population. I believe that this is their role, one that is so important today. That is also why we must find news ways to support their creativity, and, of course, to realize the same within ourselves.

I'm committing myself to bringing awareness to Generation YES! Over the next few months I'll bring your attention to more artists and luminaries from this group who are changing the world, and offer way you can support them.

Without creating a box that is too rigid to break through, these are the young adults who have answered the call to serve the world during one of the most important transitions in history. They are the forerunners of what is sometimes called the Indigo Children, but their mission is very different. Through creative and cultural expression they are demonstrating that a new world is not only possible, but is already present. As children most of these men and women became frustrated with the predominant forms of education, religion and many social structures. They are generally between the ages of 25 and 32 and are already in place to literally free the world from the ancient patterns that have held it stagnant for so long.

Human beings and life itself evolves through the application of a single factor - pressure. When life moves at a reasonable or satisfactory pace there is little incentive to move forward, at least with definite resolve. The generation immediately preceding this one was sometimes called "Generation X" partly because of its complacency and non-direction. The changing political and social problems we face today makes such complacency impossible, and so a new generation emerges that is powerfully motivated and prepared for a sacred mission. Though they can be seen operating in every walk of life, many Generation YESers use art, music, literature or film to express their views. Most importantly, they are already present at the fringe of every network and system, but they need our support to move forward.

Awareness is the first step. The Beloved Community has a readership of almost 100,000 people, and if this information is passed on then that increases exponentially. These are the young adults who will lead us out of darkness and into the light -- so pay attention.
